Administrative Assistant

*Job Description: Process intramural participant entries (data entry) - Enter scores/results - Post standings - Create & post flyers - Crop, print & post intramural champ pictures - Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office, adobe photoshop or other photo editor. Knowledge of CSI software & Recreational Solutions Software is a plus. Strong organizational skills & attention to detail is essential.
Event Staff
Work Schedule: Flexible
Hours per Week: Flexible
Wage/Salary: $8.00 per hour

*Job Description: Pre-Event: arrive 1/2 hour before event starts & assist with any setup or event needs.
During Event: Closely observe event, participants, spectators ensuring safety & rules/procedures are being followed. Provide emergency assistance.
Post Event: assist with tear down & clean up. Fill out and turn in any paperwork.
*Qualifications: Attention to details, self motivated and hard working are essential. You will also be required to pass first aid & CPR certification (no cost if taken on campus).
Intramural & Club Sports Field Crew

Wage/Salary: $9.50 per hour

*Job Description: Crews of 2 to 4 persons will help paint & maintain the Intramural Fields. The intramural fields are painted for flag football, soccer, softball, lacrosse, rugby, ultimate frisbee & more! Intramural painting times are flexible; however, it needs to be done before 4pm. Club sports (lacrosse, rugby, etc) painting will need to be on Friday, Saturday or Sundays in conjunction with the clubs schedules.
*Qualifications: No prior experience necessary. Attention to detail is essential! Field specifications MUST be exact. Will provide training on field painter & accessories. This will be an excellent opportunity to be outside and getting paid!
Intramural Sports Supervisor
Work Schedule: Sundays – Thursdays

*Job Description:
Pre-Game will arrive 1/2 hour before games start at IM OFFICE. You will:
- a. Retrieve the BACKPACK & RADIO - Backpack will have IM Shed Key, scoresheets, daily's, accident report forms, rules, schedules, ejection forms, waivers, etc.
- b. Meet with IM Director/Intern if necessary.
- c. Retrieve Intramural Equipment for your event (balls, pinnies, stop watches, cones, ref jerseys, etc.)
- d. Inspect the facility for safety and quality issues.
- e. Check in all teams & officials (assign fields/courts). Start games on-time!
Game Time
- a. Closely observe ALL games giving special attention to more intense games.
- b. Evaluate officials.
- c. Communicate effectively with players & CAPTAINS.
- d. Handle all extraneous issues within gym/field.
- e. Handle emergencies.
Post Game
- a. Record scores after EACH game & check sportsmanship ratings.
- b. Organize equipment for storage (SECURE EVERYTHING = BALLS, FLAGS, CONES, PINNIES, etc.)
- c. Return Backpack to IM Office/hand-off to IM Supervisor replacing you. If going to IM office, file scoresheets & complete daily report form if necessary.
*Qualifications: A sports background is beneficial! A positive attitude is a must!

Soccer Official
Work Schedule: Sundays (indoor),Mondays – Thursdays (Outdoor)

*Job Description: Officiate Intramural soccer league - indoor in the fall & outdoor in the spring. Two officials per game. Will provide officials jersey, yellow & red cards & one whistle. You will be expected to know any adaptations of the rules for intramurals.
*Qualifications: Strong knowledge of soccer is a must. Prior officiating experience and/or licensed is a plus. Must be prompt, fair & hustle!
Video Producer
Work Schedule: Flexible

Wage/Salary: $9.00 per hour

*Job Description: Video tape intramural & club sports events. Edit footage for highlight videos & game copies. Burn discs of footage.
*Qualifications: Strong organizational skills & attention to detail is essential.
Previous video experience preferred but not necessary.
Webmaster

*Job Description:
- Prototypes and implements web pages, working under the direct supervision of the Coordinator of Communications. Will work with Director of Intramural & Club Sports and club representatives to develop the page concepts and content.
- Plans for regular updates of pages to maintain timeliness of data.
- Reviews, spell-checks, error checks all web content prior to and after release, to maintain high level of quality of the pages.
- Performs all day-to-day maintenance of web pages, assuring pages and changes are referenced in the major search engines, and responding to e-mail about the pages.
- Writes structured, validated, and documented HTML code for ease of maintenance so that the code can be read and understood by others.
- Keeps current with HTML language and web tool developments in order to use the new features.
- Is a resource person to the individuals listed in #1 above on web site capabilities and limitations.
- Provides regular status reports to Director of Intramural & Club Sports.
*Qualifications: The webmaster should have a good understanding of HTML, Perl, CSS and BASH scripting. Knowledge of JavaScript is beneficial.
